A NOTE ABOUT URL's (Website Addresses)
If a website fails to renew its URL (Uniform Resource Language) when it expires there is the likelihood that some commercial operation will take it over. If you go there you may find ads for anything from church supplies to porn. As of March 2017 we have tested all these links and corrected those which have been taken over by organizations other than the Legion of Mary.
Even if the Legion may own the URL, it is possible from someone to hack into the code and install pop-up ads. This happened to us last year. That is why there is a note at the top of our index (front) page that we have no pop-ups. It is vitally important for Legion webmasters to ensure you do not allow your URL registration to expire.
